Day 1: Arrival at airport in Istanbul (IST or SAW)

Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to one of our boutique hotels in Sultanahmet. Check-in process and free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Regular Byzantine and Ottoman Heritage Tour with English-Speaking Guide

This is a full-day walking city tour starting from your hotel with pick-up at 8:30 a.m. and ending with a drop-off at about 5:00 p.m. At the start, we will collect you from your hotel by bus and take you to the meeting point in downtown Sultanahmet. There, you will meet your government-licensed professional tour guide, who will accompany and guide you throughout the excursion. The guide will explain the history and significance of the monuments in detail. Having a guide also brings other benefits. For example, you will notice long queues at every major museum, but there's no need to panic; when you're with a tour guide, you don't have to wait in line. Your guide will get you in quickly, saving a lot of time.

During the tour, you will visit Hagia Sophia (from outside), the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and Obelisks, Topkapı Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. There will be a lunch break before the Topkapı Palace visit. You'll also have free time at the Grand Bazaar for shopping. Your guide can assist with bargaining, which is part of shopping in Turkey. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel by bus.

Overall, this will be a cultural tour of "Sultanahmet Downtown," the heart of the "Old City," from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. You will be amazed by the grandeur of these historic sites. At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel and have some free time.

Day 3: Regular Istanbul City Tour with Bosphorus, Europe, and Asia

This is a full-day city tour by bus and boat. The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel at about 9:00 a.m. and ends by dropping you back at your hotel around 5:30 p.m. During the tour, you will visit some of Istanbul's most notable landmarks. First, you will go on a Bosphorus cruise, sailing along the European and Asian sides, offering ample opportunities for photos and videos. After that, you will be taken to the Asian side to visit the highest point in Istanbul, Çamlıca Hill. Here, you will get a sense of passing from one continent to another. An open buffet lunch is included. Next, you'll visit Beylerbeyi Palace, which was home to many Ottoman sultans. Afterward, you'll return to the European side to visit Pierre Loti Hill and take a cable car ride. The bus tour ends by passing the Ancient City Walls. Throughout the tour, a private licensed guide will explain the history and significance of the monuments.

After the tour, you will have free time and then stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Regular Full-Day Princes’ Islands Tour

This is a full-day tour of the islands, starting with a pick-up from your hotel at about 8:15 a.m. and ending with a drop-off at about 5:00 p.m. At the start, you will be collected from your hotel by bus and driven to the meeting point at the harbor. There, you will meet your tour guide, who will explain the itinerary. The boat will set sail for the Princes’ Islands, with a one-hour ride to the first island, Heybeliada. After a brief tour and some free time, the ship will sail again to the largest of the Princes’ Islands, Büyükada. The guide will give you general information about the Princes’ Islands, and then you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will have free time to stroll around the island. You can rent a bicycle and you can tour the island or walk. If the weather is good, you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing. On the way back, you will collect some great pictures and videos.

At the end of the tour, you will return to the hotel and have some free time.

Day 5: Regular Full-Day Sapanca-Masukiye Tour

This is a full-day city tour that begins with a pick-up from your hotel at about 8:15 a.m. and ends with a drop-off at about 6:00 p.m. During this tour, you'll visit Sapanca, Maşukiye, Mahmudiye, and Kartepe. This tour is suitable for people who enjoy adrenaline, nature, and safari activities. We will start by driving you to Sapanca, known for its proximity to Istanbul and its breathtaking natural scenery. You will have free time to take a safari tour with ATV motorbikes or try ziplining. Additionally, you'll visit Sapanca Lake, where you can take a walk along the lakeside or ride a pedal-boat. Afterward, you'll be driven to Maşukiye, which is located on the southern part of Sapanca Lake and is famous for its beautiful nature and environment. You will visit Maşukiye Village, where you'll have lunch consisting of all-organic food. Then, you'll go and see the Maşukiye Waterfalls, located in Mahmudiye. If it's winter, you will also visit Kartepe, where you can ski or try snowbiking for fun. In the evening, you'll return to Istanbul, taking with you a great collection of pictures and videos.

At the end of the tour, you'll return to the hotel and have some free time.

Day 6: Departure from Hotel and Transfer to Airport

On your last day, you'll check out from your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
